Designed by two friends who believe everyday items should inspire more adventure.

Bandanas are one of the original multi-tools—something that can be worn, used, repaired with, packed with snacks, tied to a backpack, or brought along on adventures big and small.

As people who love spending time outside, we were surprised by how hard it was to find bandanas that were both functional and beautiful enough to wear every day. So we set out to create something different: soft, lightweight bandanas with unique designs that people would want to bring along with them everywhere.

Meet Mattie and Grace, the duo behind Birdy Bandanas!

Together, we’re just two best friends combining our skills, passions, and quirks to create something we love. Our mission is to create thoughtfully designed products that inspire people to get outside, embrace adventure, and live more intentionally.

Meet

Mattie

Mattie is our resident microbiologist turned restaurant manager (Seven Brothers, if you're curious), and if she's not running things behind the scenes, you'll find her in the mountains, skiing, camping, or reminiscing about her soccer days. She's known for her calm and kind nature—so if you've ever emailed or DMed us, consider yourself lucky to have connected with her!

Grace

Grace, on the other hand, brings the artistic side to Birdy. With a background in advertising and design thinking, she’s an outdoor enthusiast with a deep love for mountains and an obsession with pickled beets. Fun fact: she spent 15 years as a classically trained ballerina, though she admits to being one of the clumsiest people around. Grace previously sold her art through her first venture, 'Crying Onions,' before channeling that creativity into Birdy.

THE DESIGNS

At Birdy Bandanas, we take pride in creating unique, limited-edition designs that reflect our passion for creativity and individuality. Each bandana is part of a small batch, so once it's sold out, it's usually gone for good. This approach not only keeps our designs fresh and exclusive but also allows us to stay mindful of sustainability, ensuring that we’re never producing more than what’s needed.

Who designs all of your bandanas?

Grace, one of the owners designs almost every print. However, we are always open to collaborations and including other artists! Email us at info@birdybandanas.com if you're interested.

What are the bandanas made of?

Our bandanas are all made of 100% cotton and non-toxic ink. It is a lightweight and soft cotton material, made to drape easily.

Do you do custom orders?

We do! The MOQ is 100 and we can make anything you want. The price varies based on design needs, timing, etc. but we would love to work with you! (Our favorite is custom wedding bandanas).

Do you do wholesale orders?

We do! Email us at wholesale@birdybandanas.com with any questions and we would love to set you up.

How do I use a bandana?

Our best advice is to wear a bandana however it makes you feel comfortable and confident! Great tips and ideas can be found in our blog and on our "Bird's Eye" page.

How do I take care of my bandana?

We recommend limiting the amount of washes per bandana... but they can be washed (wash cold and hang dry). **Do not was the silk georgette scarf**
